About Michael Macdonald

Michael Macdonald is a global educator, communication coach, published author, and TEDx speaker known for helping leaders and professionals communicate with clarity and confidence and leave a lasting impression that inspires action. Since 2019, he has coached executives, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders in public speaking, presentation skills, and authentic communication.

He holds a BSc in Mathematics and a Secondary School Teaching Certificate from the University of Manitoba, a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from ESL International in Vancouver, and an Extended Studies Diploma in Education and Theatre from Simon Fraser University. Michael also earned the Competent Toastmaster (CTM) and Competent Leader (CL) designations from Toastmasters International.

With experience spanning education, hospitality, real estate, professional acting, and personal development, Michael brings a unique blend of lived experience, human insight, curiosity, and compassion to his coaching. His work is driven by a lifelong commitment to helping people find their authentic voice, overcome self-doubt, and communicate with impact.
